How Wellspring is Different
Participants in our programs have often always struggled with their weight. For some, the weight issue is fairly new. In nearly every case, however, recent years have brought significant increases in weight. With each additional pound gained, activity levels decrease, which leads to a vicious cycle of weight gain.
Wellspring's program helps break the cycle. With an intensive, comprehensive fitness and weight loss program, Wellspring participants lose weight, gain confidence, improve fitness, and then lose more weight, learning new healthy lifestyle skills along the way.

We show participants how a low fat diet, 10,000 steps per day, and lifestyle change results in permanent weight loss. Participants in a Wellspring Program see the differences physically and feel the differences in mood, outlook, confidence, and self-esteem that come with this weight loss. They "live" the healthy lifestyle, reap its benefits, and work to continue it.
